1. What is World Peace One (WP1)?
WP1 is a Foundation headquartered in Ft. Lauderdale USA whose purpose is to move humanity toward ending all war and terror by advancing the cause of Permanent Peace globally. To that end the Foundation is embarking on a ground-breaking Ten-Year Global Peace Initiative that will include, amongst other things, major entertainment events, interfaith and environmental programs, humanitarian relief efforts, symposiums, educational curriculums, and grassroots community gatherings.

2. Aren't the goals of WP1 too ambitious and unrealistic?
Humanity is currently facing a self-generated crisis as ominous as the threat of global warming. Weapons of Mass Destruction, once confined by a handful of governments – are confineable no more, and the next generation of genetically reinforced viruses and bacteria will soon be even more deadly and more easily deliverable than nuclear weapons.Thus, the need for a massive Worldwide Peace Movement should be abundantly clear. WP1 is completely dedicated to this ambitious undertaking, to help humanity bring an end to war before war brings an end to humanity. More humane and innovative methods of problem-solving and conflict resolution must be conceived, and the underlying causes of terrorism, war and civil unrest must be better addressed.To change our enemies we must also change ourselves, and the time to act is now.

3. It is easy to imagine a lot of people getting onboard the WP1 Initiative, but what does WP1 hope to do about extremist groups, violent gangs and terrorists?
WP1 aligns itself with all persons, community groups, cities, universities, faith-based groups, non-profit organizations, and corporations that stand for and promote peace and human rights, regardless of their national, political and/or religious affiliation. The Foundation emphasizes unity, equality, cooperation, prosperity, and environmental responsibility, and is committed to empowering people interested in universal peace. To that end, the main objective of WP1's Ten-Year Global Peace Initiative is nothing short of awakening, inspiring and convincing our human family that World Peace is a crucial and attainable goal for all. In the years ahead, as the largest Peace Movement the planet has ever seen gains momentum, the collective voice of the peaceful majority will begin to resonate everywhere – and in so doing act as a positive force through which the complex and seemingly unsurmountable challenges associated with extremism, gang warfare and terrorism can be disentangled and approached in ways currently unimaginable. A bright light beamed into the darkness always serves as a guiding beacon to guide us to a better place and to show us the way to world betterment.

4. Often times organizations with good intentions lose their original focus and get caught up in bureaucracy and politics – how will WP1 be different?
At all times WP1 will be fully transparent and open to audits of its operations. Monies raised for WP1 programs will always be used towards advancing World Peace, and that mission will never change. WP1's peacebuilding values cannot be compromised or negotiated. Our members are fully committed to the Foundation's Declaration, preferring to work with like-minded people in common our pursuits. WP1 is different as it has no hidden agenda or ulterior motives. The Foundation is dedicated to peacebuilding on a global scale, and will never seek to reframe its strategy based on political or economic gains.

5. Why do you accept donations and sponsorship monies from corporations that have little or nothing to do with advancing World Peace?
Businesses that do not specialize in peacebuilding, but that understand WP1's goals and wish to make financial contributions – are key in our efforts to establish a Global Economy of Peace. Monies diverted to peacebuilding that would otherwise have been used to pursue additional corporate profits are fundamental to reshaping the world's economic landscape. By directing funds to programs that provide humanitarian relief to Third World nations, addresses the extreme poverty that underpins certain acts of violence and terrorism – practices that, through peaceful means, can and must finally be defeated.

6. What does entertainment have to do with advancing World Peace?
Just as with corporate donations, funds raised from entertainment events and entertainers play a key role in advancing a Global Economy of Peace. As more monies are allotted to defeating the underlying causes of terrorism and war, the idea of peace moves from vague or general notions, to concrete and tangible realities. In the years ahead WP1 will coordinate a series of mega-entertainment events, including global superconcerts, comedy tours, award shows, film festivals, symphonies, and marathons.

7. What kinds of programs can be instrumental in advancing World Peace?
There are many! In its early years WP1 will aim to establish peacebuilding programs such as Cities For Peace, a Global Braintrust, Global Peace Symposiums, Peace Education Curriculum Development, Departments of Peace, Sports for Peace, and a Heart of Peace Award. Subsequently, there will be WP1 Ambassadorship programs, an Interfaith Peace and Forgiveness Council, a Women’s Peace and Mobilization Council, Humanitarian Relief Efforts and Eco-Peace Programs.
